Exporting as jpg would allow for compression to create smaller files for web, and sharing. PNG is a great format, but the files can get rather large. Allowing for compression settings at the point of save (like Irfan View) with a set of defaults offering a good compromise between compression and quality for those who don't want to have to think about it would be a great option.

Make the changes live. The effect should change in real time as I move a slider.
Second, if I zoom in & make a change, it reverts to the normal size view, not at the zoom level I was in. This means I was constantly zooming in to see the effect on the detail.
