Have a "do you want to save?" warning/alert box

I made some changes to an image and I lost them when I opened a new image or quit the program. Some sort of alert/warning message that that would happen would be useful. Windows 10 64 bit.

Allow export to either PNG or JPEG

Right now, it allows the export to PNG only, which is fine for some. But others may have a hard time converting that PNG to a proper JPEG, without some loss in detail. If it was done at this editor level, that detail should not be lost.

export as JPG to compress for smaller file sizes.

Exporting as jpg would allow for compression to create smaller files for web, and sharing. PNG is a great format, but the files can get rather large. Allowing for compression settings at the point of save (like Irfan View) with a set of defaults...
